Northern Connector brings the Barossa closer

On Saturday 8 March 2020, the new Northern Connector road opened, bringing improved travel times to Gawler and the Barossa Valley, and a boost to the local economy.
Along with local tourism operators, food processors and real estate agents, Concordia Land Trust welcomes the new road connection. The Northern Connector will help shorten commuting times and make the region more efficient and accessible.
The Regional Development Board for Barossa, Gawler, Light and Adelaide Plains has acknowledged the road as a very strategic piece of infrastructure, which will help drive investment in the region.
A good example is the Concordia Land Trust’s commitment to the region. When combined with the future road connector to be provided between Barossa Valley Way and Sturt Highway as part of the Concordia project, these road investments will have a very significant positive impact on transport movements.
